Brandon J. Robertson is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of UCP Merchant Medicine. He formed UCP Merchant Medicine in 2015 and has sought to create opportunities for health systems to thrive in the ever-changing healthcare consumerism space with focus in the on-demand care industry.

For the last decade, Brandon has advised hundreds of leaders on approaches and models to optimize patient experience and throughput. To date, 150 urgent care centers utilize the UCP Merchant Medicine model and produce 34-minute average door-to-door times and Net Promoter scores in the 90s.

Brandon’s expertise is in healthcare consumer centric modern urgent care, virtual care, and occupational health services. He is an expert in artificial intelligence applications for healthcare as well as Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.

Brandon holds an MBA from the University of Colorado with emphasis in Healthcare Administration.

Weston Johnson is the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for UCP Merchant Medicine. He is an experienced leader in the healthcare strategy, data analytics and project management who has provided market, financial and analytical services to numerous health systems across the nation.

His experience in strategic planning, financial modeling, service line planning, practice rationalization and healthcare infrastructure planning allows him to share a broad base of experience and abilities with clients.

Weston is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.

David Herring is Chief Technology Officer at Intellivisit. He has more than 30 years of experience as a software developer and team lead. Over the last six years, David has been a software executive setting and achieving goals for technology companies by delivering innovative software solutions to the marketplace.

David's expertise is in software development for distributed systems, data science, and artificial intelligence as well as leading software teams to deliver working code at scale for enterprise solutions. He has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.

Danté Richardson MD is Chief Medical Officer of UCP Merchant Medicine. Dr. Richardson collaborates with health system leadership to recommend, institute and codify retail urgent care solutions to addresses changes in patient expectations, demographics, scope of practice challenges, financial viability, patient care and integration.

Dr. Richardson has created Chief Complaint, Documentation and Coding courses for Advanced Practice Providers and Medical Assistants to optimize their performance in Urgent Care. He led in the design of the user interface for clinical AI. Dr. Richardson is actively involved in the curation of a clinical AI model, medical data and question set.

Dr. Richardson is board certified in Family Medicine, a certified Medical Review Officer, and a certified DOT Medical Examiner. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and Spartan Health Sciences University.

Brian Khan, MD is the Chief Medical Information Officer at UCP Merchant Medicine. He leads the development, refinement, enhancement, and management of clinical artificial intelligence and clinical decision support tools. His deep expertise in internal medicine, clinical informatics, artificial intelligence, digital health, and process improvement brings tremendous value to the leadership and technology teams within the organization.

Board-certified in clinical informatics, Dr. Khan has vast experience in applying technology to health care. He specializes in digital health tools, electronic medical record build and optimization, data analytics, workflow redesign, and implementation. He has served in informatics leadership within large healthcare systems and has hands-on experience guiding numerous early digital health and AI growth companies.

Dr. Khan holds an undergraduate degree from Andrews University, a medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and an MBA in Healthcare Management from La Sierra University. He also completed residency in Internal Medicine at Huntington Hospital and a two-year Clinical Informatics Fellowship at the University of California San Diego.

Leah is Vice President of Strategy and Research of UCP Merchant Medicine. She has worked with health systems and medical groups across the U.S. on urgent care market analytics, performance benchmarking, site selection, budgeting, finance, center development, clinic layout and design, contract and vendor management, operational diagnostics, and marketing programs. She brings over twelve years of direct hands-on experience in designing, building, and improving urgent care operations. Prior to joining UCP Merchant Medicine, Leah was Director of Operations for MHM Urgent Care in New Orleans, Louisiana, now part of Ochsner Health System. She worked with MHM executive leadership to grow from concept to a regional chain of fully operational clinics. Leah received her BS in Biology from Baylor University and MS in Health Care Management from the University of New Orleans.

Debbie Bush is Vice President of Urgent Care for UCP, and is based in Orlando, FL. Debbie brings 35 years of urgent care experience, opening over 150 urgent care facilities nationwide. Debbie successfully project managed the expansion of clinic services, across multiple states, coordinating all aspects of operations. Debbie specializes in clinical process flow, policies and procedures, laboratory and radiology services, and EHR implementations. She also shares expertise with performance improvement/clinical best practice, design of quality control procedures, regulatory compliance and staff development through training and education programs.

Debbie is well versed in occupational medicine and DOT compliance regarding exams, drug screening, breath alcohol testing, and MRO services.
